The military activity was halted due to cease fire announced on August 26th.
The total number of displaced people is estimated to be around 300,000 although precise figure on IDPs staying at informal shelters and host families need some time to be determined as the situation is still unstable.
Gaza fishing zone is now extended to 6 nautical miles. The severe limitation imposed to the fishing activity has caused huge economic losses for the fishers.
